Al is the man!  My wife and I contacted Al for a bathroom renovation, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. The relatively straight forward job ended up being a nightmare, but Al handled it like a champ and stayed on schedule. A valve on our condo water main became stuck in the closed position, and the property management company (ridiculously) had no idea where the shut off was. When the only other option was to shut of water for the street, Al came up with one of the most brilliant solutions I've ever heard of. I don't want to give his secret away, but his solution was beyond genius!

 

As far as the reno goes, the results are fantastic and Al really knows what he's doing. He's always on time and is straight forward and honest about cost, timeline, problems, etc. He's basically the exact opposite of the bad contractor stereotype. We can't recommend him enough, and we're glad we found him!

 

-- I really hope Yelp doesn't filter this review, because anyone who's in the market for a renovation NEEDS to know about Al!!!

Chicago Custom Remodeling is fair and honest.  I have worked with Al for the past year on various projects on our condo, and he has been upfront and honest about the costs before he starts the work.  He has high standards and won't leave the job until you are completely satisfied.  He actually went beyond the scope of his work to help us get things fixed that we didn't even notice, and did it without a charge to us.  He is the most honest contractor I have met, and I will continue to use him as much as I can.

I have just hired Al to do a second remodeling project for me.  I have never met a more honest contractor and genuine good guy than Al.  He's ridiculously talented, sharp and simply gets the job done exactly the way you want it done.  I've passed Al's name on to countess people looking to do remodeling.  He's the best.

You will not be disappointed! Al from Chicago Custom Remodeling does wonderful work. He did our bathroom remodel and it turned out beautifully...custom ceramic tile shower and flooring, new plumbing and tub, custom lighting....just a great job. My vanity didn't arrive until after he completed the remodel. I called him and he came right away to install it. Whatever work you want done, he can do. He also recently completed our basement remodel and it is just gorgeous. He even built a closet to surround our sump pump to hide it and add extra storage. Just awesome.He works long and hard, his prices are reasonableand he is a very pleasant to work with. Having him back this summer for some custom kitchen work. I can't say enough about Al and Chicago Custom Remodeling.
